Read as: Why it's never good when someone sends you Slender Man videos over youtube.

So I was checking my Youtube account when I find that I have a message in my inbox. So I go and check it and see the subject "New Slenderblog". The sender is "RealTrueMarbleHornets", and the message said "Watch it now" and this video was attached.



Can people just not make stupid things? I mean I don't find these kinds of things even remotely funny. Why can't people actually make funny content or put effort into shit instead of wasting time making shit things like these?

Yeah. I think that will explain this quicker and easier.

This video is linked to those blogs which are just a (in my opinion) bad attempt at a parody blog that's decided to keep stretching further and further.

So much so that there's some posts made on this forum and UnFiction that are copypasta onto that "Marble Hornets Blog"

So, knowing our bad luck, this topic is next gonna be referenced as "part of the Slenderconspiracy" as that blog calls it.

We got the same message. Though, they weren't quite as nice (if you'd like to put it that way.) The subject read, "You Could Never Hope To Measure Up" and in the message it said, "And I dont even need with five tumblrs and a facebook," which makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Okay, now I have to rant a bit. These are my personal feelings on the matter, just so everyone is aware.

I do like parody blogs/vlogs, or ones that can attempt to be silly. For example, The Watcher is one of my favorites simply because of the wifin'. (On another note, tomorrow would make it a year since I posted a topic about it on Slender Nation. Damn time flies.) I highly recommend reading it to any of those that haven't. MarbleBumbleBee excels as a parody blog and this is a must watch. I can enjoy those for the comedic aspects, and not facepalm while reading them. While on another part of the spectrum there's AbductedFlowers(NSFW-ish?) and I'm not sure if I should be laughing even though I do, or to be horrified as to the content. Periwinkle. Just saying.

As for this "I am the Slender Slayer" bullshit...

This is clearly the sad and unfortunate work of a deranged Slender Man hater who has gone on a terrible crackfic spree, and thinks it's a work of Leonardo Da Vinci with the voice of Morgan Freeman narrating it. That's what I'm going to tell myself to help me sleep at night.

This pure work of madness is so unfathomable, even Cthulhu wouldn't touch it with a two-hundred foot tentacle. I've only skimmed this godforsaken thing and I feel the need to rinse my eyes with periwinkle [REDACTED].

Honestly, I feel bad for any blog/vlog creator who happens to be unfortunately mentioned in those blogs and pity anyone who ends up finding this thing and believes it's connected to the REAL, ACTUAL CANON SERIES. And yes, for the record people do believe a vast amount of bullshit can be connected to MarbleHornets, EMH, TribeTwelve, etc. Personally, I like to do fact-checking to make sure I know what's what and not end up looking like a gorram fool when talking to someone else and to help people correct their mistakes.

Also brings me to what in Slender Man's name could have made the writer of this decide to have more blogs associated with it? Not only that, but they spam other people with the utmost IDIOTIC BULLSHIT, so even if it's a parody blog, it's made of the highest caliber of fail the world has ever seen and should have never seen the light of day.

I'm taking it a bit personally because for one, as an Admin, I don't want people spamming this crap on Slender Nation because IT'S NOT FUNNY TO BREAK THE RULES HERE. While two, as a fan, I feel like it's something that I feel doesn't deserve to see the light of day, and I don't like to think of it being spammed elsewhere such as my personal YouTube account, the SlenderNation YouTube account, and whoever else had the misfortune of having it sent to them.
